What is concept of real wife in India?
Although increasing numbers of women seek and secure employment outside their homes, the concept of the ideal Indian wife remains someone who exhibits the nurturing qualities of a domestic caregiver while also embodying masculine agency and independence in the workplace. Moreover, even when women secure formal employment outside the home, they are often underpaid and are more anxious because of the perceived conflicts between their paid labor and their traditional roles as homemakers – Ramasubramanian, S., & Jain P. (2009) (as cited in Sanyal, Chatterjee, & Chatterjee, 2007).
How is the laboral reality in corporations for women?
In India there are 2 women managers for every 100 men managers. The differences in the way the two groups were rewarded were subtle, but they apparently signalled to men that they were valued for the long term and to women that they were not. – Basu, S. (2008).
What is the concept to find a spouse/husband?
The expected norm is that the definition of ideal female partners is in terms of reproductive health and physical attractiveness, while men are more likely to emphasize their financial security and social status.

Comparision between Colombian culture and Indian culture.
In both cultures there are some similarities about gender, for example, in both cultures is common that women are the part who stay at home, raise the children and clean the house, even though they have other employment. And other similarity about gender in both counties is women clothes, in both cultures is criticized if women use clothes that make her see her physical attributes.
