According to Lewis, in India is predominant multiactive culture but this culture have some things in common with reactive culture. Multiactive culture is likely to be emotionals, talkative, loquacious, impulsive, impuntuctual, they don’t like to stop a conversation, they do a lot of things at time, they are flexible with their activities. Reactive culture are people respectfull, good listeners, patient, polite, they don’t like to interrupt to another person, they don’t like to do eyes conctact.
If a person from India comes to Barranquilla, Colombia, the cultural change is minimun based on this model of culture, because in India is predominant multiactive culture and here in Colombia the culture is multiactive too. But in India there are a little of reactive culture too, and in this case it could have some problems in both cultures, because reactive culture is very respectfull and have the impression that they are shy, they don’t greet in the same form that we do (that is usually with a hug or a kiss in the cheek) and in reactive culture they don’t lost face by in contrast in multiactive culture is common to gave a good excuse for don’t lose face.
